yo vinny its Fitzy, I met you the other day. I need more info about your top like where you bought it and who installed it etc. where do you live?? I may just buy the top from cabrioworld and have that place in Lawrence do it. I wish i could have seen it up close. when are you going to visit Proskater again?

Thanks Scott but the wiring to the defroster aren't working because of the 02 top on 00 model... They wire the top the same way like the hard top should be and I guess you would need to some modification on the 00-01 because of the changes that was made for the 02 model S.

 

Congrats on your new top! Did you really put on a canvas top? I'm not sure if you are aware of this, but the OEM top for all MYs is vinyl not canvas.

Hey Bass but my tops are not OEM I purchase my top from Val at TOPSONLINE.COM. I decided get the Stayfast Top (canvas) with glass window plus defrost over the vinyl because I wanted something different for a change didn't like the OEM top to begin with...

I meant to say I purchase from Vic at Topsonline.com not Val..hahaha... So far no luck yet but I'll try something out this weekend see if that the problem with not grounding properly..instead of the green wire I should be grounded the black n yellow wire plus the single black wire.. Hope that would fix the problem.. Didnt' want to spend all the money on parts plus label and not have it working..
