You know, this is almost like a "Dear Abby", We'll call it " Hey Scott Thread"
and i will be the lucky customer #2, here i go,

Hey Scott,

I have a Vortech supercharger on my S, the first generation. Now, i am experiensing a rattle from the blower between 3,000 and 4,000 rpm, especially when the rpm is going down ( usually during shift change) Now i think it might be a ball bearing going bad, is this something that you can work on, repair? or do you have any suggestions as to what should i do?

Tony

I haven't had a Vortech charger that don't make noise .

Most of the noise is just gear lash . The Z I do are very loud also .

I would have to here it to give you a better opinion .

Steve you are thinking about the Comptech charger

So anyway Scott, I wasn't thinking about an easy fit that just needs some mounting brackets made. I'm talking cutting, chopping and fabricating.

Thats not a problem , but there are a few things you have to think about and if you have a bugeye to get some measurments from . We dond want to have to go in the back to shift it

From the front of the crankshaft to the rear of the tail shaft on the tranny is 55" . The shifter comes out of the tranny at about 50". Tranny width is 16" and Motor height about 30"

See what you can find
