Interesting ... I hate them. Just goes to show you everyone has their own way of looking at things. That's what makes this a bunch-o-fun.

If your interested in the car the last thing to worry about is the exterior piece parts. They can be changed to suit your taste. Lord knows some of us have spent waaaaay too much on ours.

Make sure the mechanicals are great and the rest can be a project for you over time.
