2- All I know for a fact is we cannot continue doing what we are doing. And, I'm a firm believer we will never effect change like we want. We seem to want to stabalize the government and the environment there, and to me this is just arrogant American thinking. I do not, nor will I ever believe we are going to force the people who live in that part of the world to suddenly start being nice to each other. Kids grow up in an environment where strapping bombs onto your body to send a message is ok. We cannot fight or change that, and to think we can is just plain cluelessness. The ONLY way people change is when they decide for themselves to make the change. A massive society change, a change in the way people think and a change in people's believe system is not something we are going to effect in the middle east. I agree for our own security we need to monitor the threat that is there, and to take action if and when it is needed to protect our own rights, but no way in hell are we ever going to stabilize the goverment, because we will never beable to stabilize the people's believe system. They could if they choose to, but for hundred and hundreds of years they have shown no interest in doing so.
