Wishing you the best getting it to look like new again. Hopefully the scratches aren't too deep.

So call them back and tell them they vandalized it with their car

I think your Ins is BS'ing you ... What the hell is the difference between a hit and run and vandalism if the car was parked ??

it's all based on what type of coverage you have and i assume you have full coverage - me if someone smashes into the 'lude and drives away mine wont get fixed because i have "basic" ie 400 a year but if you have full coverage then EVERYTHING is covered

again i would call your ins agent and just as scott said - my car got damaged and the guy left the scene and you are not coving a hit and run why would you cover vandalism as it's one in the same

although by the looks of it i'd be willing to bet some squirrels got a big bag of nuts and gave you payback

LOL yeah called them back, Deductible is $500. They said its nor worth it if it just needs a respray. Told them I will go to a shop, check it out and let them know if it's worth it or not.

I wouldn't think it would be more then 500 for a respray, I got my front done for 250 but i took it off and put it back on.

for a scratch like that, you're looking at $400-500 easy for the respray. They'll have to pull, prep, spray, and reinstall the bumper...

(Just had my front bumper done 2x by Ballistic Bodyworks in Fishkill)

Sorry this happened to you bro. Some people have no class

I park so close now so neighbors don't squeeze between cars. They find it too hard to walk around the blue car . My drivers side door, from fender all the way to the side skirt has a deep wide long scratch from an object they were walking by my car with. Also deep scratch on Bumper from shovel.

Also scratchs from peoples zippers on the fender when during winter they would squeeze thru even tho I started parking it really close. Now I park inchs away... Convex Mirrors FTW!!

Dimitry. that sux Like it says above figure $400 plus for a GOOD respray on a bumper. They need to use a flex agent in the paint and this drives up the cost.
