Just got new from my realtor that I'm a new home owner Purchased a 1300sq ft ranch in New Britain, CT. No garage but it will be built, trust me I live in the garage. Wondering if anyone has any recommendations for home inspectors or who to avoid?

Any other suggestions for the process Im about to go through?

doesn't your bank provide a home inspection mine did when i bought my place

oh and the other tip - have lots-o-money

 

I think the bank may have provided an inspector, but we had to pay...can't remember, it's been a "few" years.

Congrats on the purchase.

As Bass mentioned, keep a few $ around. The little things of home ownership add up in a hurry.

 

Havent talked to anyone here that said their bank did the inspection, usually you have to hire an inspector.
