I was kind of underwhelmed with Hondafest. Really nice cars were few and far between. Music anywhere other than the roof top was a bit out of control at times. I know this happens at shows but it's way worse inside of a garage. I don't have a problem with the places with legit DJ's, but combine that with 2-3 other people playing different music you basically get noise. The year I went they raffled off a Honda Ruckus. This year the big prize was a a set of 4 lug gold rims... Didn't even bother getting a raffle tickets. Combine that with the $35-20 admission to be @ the show, I'm probably gonna forgo it next year. Mark and I spent a bit of time in the Casino eating breakfast, some gambling, and then eating lunch. Not to mention they were going to do the raffle/awards at 4:30 but didn't start until around 5:30. Made for a long day.

The good:
- Really nice wide body, cherry red S2000. I believe it was also turbo'd. Seriously, fantastic. Mississippi plates.
- Black S2000 with a Spoon hardtop, ASM style front bumper with splitter, and Volks.
- I think I saw Dmulahfamosos's S2000. If you're running some kind of JDM carbon fiber "whale penis". Props. Look'ing good.

The Bad:
- Saw at least 2 NA S2000's running ARC intakes. Seriously? They look good, but I thought the general consensus is that they heat soak and don't build power.
- A few stanced S2k, not my bag. To each their own.

The Ugly:
- S2000 with Yellow rims and painted calipers to match Yellow as well as painted hats BUT GET THIS. The rotors had paint embedded in them. It's like the guy just sprayed everything then let the brake work the rest off. Seriously?!

I know. This posts has no pics. Can't post while at work. I just wanted to get some thoughts out of my head while they're reasonably fresh.

I thought that intake you had looked familiar... couldn't place it. I thought it was a J's at first but the shape was off. That explains it!

That painted rotor guy was at the far corner If you left the elevator/stair area and went straight to the end. The car wasn't yellow, I actually can't remember the color... but the rims were yellow as well as the calipers and rotor hats. At first I thought I was seeing a yellow reflection on the rotor surface till I looked closer.

One more "Ugly": I didn't see it, but Marc spotted an S2000 on one of the lower levels with the emergency donut tire on the REAR WHEEL. < Insert Facepalm graphic here >

Dang, Kenta so judgemental.

Sucks that I missed this one. I haven't done much this season since my son was born in March.

I personally took only a few photos so here they are:

Arriving at Hondafest with my crew of CT s2ks:

We parked all the way up top first, but it was so retardedly hot we said f@#k it and parked under the ceiling of the last ramp up to the top floor:

Here is Roger Ruiz's s2k everyone was foaming at. Same setup as last year except new color, last time he was blue:

Buddy angel just taking a roller shot of myself. On the Way back:

The actual Herb Chambers car show, in Seekonk, is what you're referring to. It was not Hondafest. It was actually a week before Hondafest 2013 and surely set the bar. However, after that, Herb Chambers Seekonk has been sponsoring Hondafest shows at the Mohegan Venue ('14, '15)

Here is my result for 3 days of before sunrise to after sunset before Sunday. I hate rushing things but life happens and I was determined to bring a personal car this year. Most of the work is unseen as I didn't want it shown off / unattended.

Didn't go this time but looks like there were some nice cars, I haven't been feeling allot of carshows/meets in a while, seems like the scene is going to shit and you get these people ruining them with the music blaring with speakers on top of the roofs of they're cars and such, just no respect anymore. The seekonk CARSHOW was by far the best I've been to, it was relaxed and they had a dj and the cars that showed up were mostly all nice, no riff raff
