Default Hurricane check in

Hurricane check in thread.

Flashlights - checked
Batteries - checked
Cash - Yep
Beer - Yes
Diet Coke - yes
Chocolate - yes
Bottled water - yes
Gas in car - yes

We'll be better off than many if it hits. We can cook on the top of the stove, make instant coffee, flush the toilet AND take a hot shower. Gas hot water works with no power.

So are you ready?

can tell you don't have big trees nearby.
you forgot chainsaw and gas/oil.

not real concerned about cooking etc.
at least we don't have to worry about pipes freezing in the power goes out.

hey maybe a big tree will come down and destroy my driveway.
it reeeeallly needs to be repaved.

The center of the projected storm model track cone [red line] for our area has moved West about 100 miles in the last 24 hours. If that keeps up we should be in pretty good shape by the time it gets here.

Yes, it will start to fall apart if it moves from the ocean waters, correct?

Yeah....that's what should happen.

The storm plot I posted before was as of 8AM EDT this morning.

Wife is suppose to be on her way back from El Salvador Sunday afternoon, I suspect she will be stuck in Miami Sunday night into late Monday as the storm moves through up here....
