Default I feel the need....

for speed...well....maybe not so much speed but I definitely feel the need to go drive my car.

I got antsy last week when the weather was nice and Ron said go ahead, put the insurance back on.

I didn't need to be told twice. oTTo has been under his car cover for two months and I took him around the block once a month ago just to give him some exercise.

Today I am going to take a nice long drive since its nice out and the crap's has pretty much been washed off the roads recently.

I'm up for company if there's anyone in the neighborhood that wants to meet up for an impromtu but I'm probably just staying here in CT and gonna head out to the Litchfield hills.

Gonna head out around noon.

I'll be out driving today, too! In the back roads of northern East Lyme, Montville, and Salem CT.

It's a gorgeous day out for Feb. One of the nicest birthdays in a long time...

Hope you guys had fun. This is the first season we took any insurance coverage (collision) off of the S. Since the nice days are so few and far between, I don't see us out and about until mid-March at the earliest..

It IS nice out, but we like to see temps around 50 before uncovering for the season. We had low 40's here today.

it was a bit squirrelly out there with all of the sand and salt.

it can't imagine what it's like to drive for a speed record at Bonneville salt flats. it was greasy feeling when you got into it. More so than just the cold tires.

Route 57 in Mass was pretty crappy but the rest of the ride was quite nice. I wanted to put the top down but it never made it above 50 and Ron's pretty sensitive to drafts.

Took oTTo to the car was before bedding him back down under his cover.

I was in a Mazdaspeed3 this weekend in Delaware.....oh snap what a dirty little car. I was wishing for my S so bad. At least I got to drive a manual....first time since November.
