Default I have competition!

Congratulations to Martin and Bill for having faster average times than I did for the day at the BMW event yesterday! And they were my students!

Anyone else want to join us?

That was a total fluke. Bill and I peppered you with so many questions about tire pressures and alignment settings we managed to throw off your morning runs. And let's not forget that you did have the fastest lap.

I think in order to prove it was a fluke we should all go to the Miata event this Sunday at Devens.

Who's in?

Hey Francis, I don't think I beat you. My best run in the afternoon involved a cone, making it my not so best run...

So how about oil catch cans (or tanks or bottles). After last week, I have concluded we need them. The oil ends up coating the intake manifolds and throttle body and this has an adverse effect on performance. Or maybe I shouldn't overfill my engine!! Still, now that I have experienced the joys of downshifting to first, I am sure I need one of these. Ihave now learned the dynamics that cause oil to be sucked into the intake manifold. The high rev, low throttle opening, hard right turn situation is bound to happen again.
