I have an idea
Well, I was just on the Autopia website and saw a thread about Meguiars having a get together at their HQ today for members of Autopia. Basically, they are being educated on what types of products do what and how to use a PC. I personally would have to loved to attend, but I'm not flying to CA just to learn how to use a PC. So, I'm wondering if anyone from NESKO has ever tried to contact a company like Megs to arrange something like this? I know Megs has a trailer that travels the country doing things like this. Also, I know Zymol does this at NSX events and is located locally in CT. Personally, I would love to see a presentation by Zymol but I know that would not involve a PC and might not interest everyone.
OK. No one really gave me any feed back on this idea
, but I did see on the Meguiar's website a forum where you can request that they do a detailing class in your area. All you have to do is round up about 30 people. Anyone interested in this for the spring?

Thanks Bill. It was a little disappointing when no one responded at all when I initially posted my idea.
I will definitely look into this further when spring rolls around. I was just trying to see if I was the only one interested.

Mike, I think most here realize we don't have the scale locally to earn Meguiar or Zymol's attendance. The NSX event was probably a national one w/ over 50 cars - we don't have that many here. Furthermore, there are even fewer of us that loyally stood by either brand.

I'm now a certified auto detailer. I finish my class last week.
I could teach a class. I could also teach you guy how much of the stuff on the market is total BS marketing
You would never believe how much BS is on the market!

If anything, it would be nice to learn how to detail properly. For myself, I drive myself nuts trying to figure out which products are going to work for my car, and which ones are total waste of time... I see these gorgeous finishes and I wanna achieve those results. I currently have a detailer in the area, but would like to learn to do it myself. Any help would be greatly appreciated, seminar or what not.
