Default I may have done something a bit reckless...

So under the pressure of my own financial dilemma's, I decided to throw up my S2000 for sale around a few forums. I Have the supra too, and it just doesnt make sense to own two cars that are RWD with no top, and nothing for winter. Well I got some hits right away, and before I knew it, I had someone at my house looking at the car. We agreed on a price that is right around fair market value for the car ( even though I feel mine deserves a bit more due to its excellent condition) and we agreed to make the transaction. I am keeping a couple of my more expensive modifications, which was part of the deal that we agreed on. I feel like Im selling myself a bit short on what im taking for the car, but KBB says otherwise. Ive never actually felt sad letting a car go until now.

With that said, Ill be putting up my Sebring silver (shine) ASM bumper up for sale, along with my T1R-70R-EM Sparrow dual exhuast tomorrow. I figured id give my fellow New England S2k owners first dibs before I went public with them.

I do see buying another S2000 in my future, and ill be on here everyday still, and plan on attending any non-S2000 exclusive meets still
but in the mean time, im going to look into getting a used CR-Z, or an old honda commuter car like a mid 90's civic to save money through the winter. Id also like to consider buying a house at some point within the next year or two.

Sorry to hear this, Tim. Your decision makes financial sense. Decisions that make financial sense aren't the most fun, but being practical is not a bad thing. Gotta think ahead. Cars are not an investment, a house will be..........well hopefully when the market improves.

Good luck!

Makes sense but I guess doing what makes sense isn't always the thing that makes you happy. But you gotta do what you gotta do as they say...

So yeah. How much for he bumper?

I am in the same boat - offered a deal to my buddy who was interested and he took it immediately. He's getting the car end of this week!

Good luck with everything!

Join the club. I recently traded in my S for "another Honda". That "other Honda" being an Odyssey Touring. Had to do it for the family as our other family car (a Mountaineer) was getting tired. Overall, I miss the S, but I am loving the van and the enjoyment that the kids and wife get out of it.

Look on the bright side... At least you still have the Supra to play with!
