Illegal speed trap on Rt 9...?
Hi Glenn!
Look's like I missed a lot of good times over this past Summer/Fall, especially the Fall Colors meet this past weekend.
Damn!
I have been working six days a week since late July (Sundays mostly!). Lot's of work, thanks to Osama.
Enough said. I really can't get into those details here.
My S only has 17K miles. Let's get together some Saturday.

I can't follow this thread but Happy Birthday to you and/or your S2K. (I'm still not sure about this one ???
Who is having a birthday?)
In any event, I am sure one of you is deserving of this salutation.

Wanna have some fun?
Take your daily beater to Bernardi Honda and get a test drive in the (disgustingly filthy) Sebring they insist on damaging by backing it up over the curb in front of their (dust-covered due to construction) store.
The standard route the salesperson will take you on is through this speed trap. But since you scouted it before you took the drive (you came to the dealership from the west), you know the cops aren't there.
Just as the dude who knows so little about the S2000 is telling you "it's a limited production car, it's got 153 HP and 240 lb-ft of torque and it's got an electronic rollover prevention system attached to the stock supercharger," you can drop into 3rd, hit, say, 7K-8K RPM, fly through the trap he expects you to get nailed in and then when you hit the light to pull a U-turn on Route 9 in front of Sherwood Plaza, you'll just grin at him and say, "uh...this is a fast car, huh?"

Good to see you back on the board.
