So our son is sick, the granddaughter has been giving them a hard time with sleeping, so Grandma has stepped up to help out.

The little guy is spending his second night here this week. I'm watching Barney for about the 10th time this week.

I'm tired, but he's cute (the grandson, not the stupid purple dinosaur). Life is good.

Anyone else watching Barney tonight?

 

Nope. I'm gonna try out a new do-it-yourself root canal kit. Seems like it would be lots more fun than Barney.

Lainey, we watch Dora the Explorer and her friends, Diego, Bob the Builder, etc until I want to puke.

 

I distinctly remember a Car and Driver testing a Viper and doing a launch on a Barney....

 

He's not ready for Dora and Diego yet, but we've sat through those too, with the granddaughter.

So far he's easy. He's already in his crib. My son told me to turn some music on for him when I put him to bed. The crappy clock radio in the guest room has lousy reception, so he's listening to country music. Hope that doesn't scar him for life.

It's working. I think he's sleeping already.
