I'm in withdrawals
OK, enough is enough. It has been only a little over a week since my unfortunate mishap. I can't stand not having my baby where I can see her right now. I can't stand knowing that she is a mess. I saw a black/black 02 yesterday and almost cried. I need help. Is anyone planning a drive soon that I can tag along on just to get an S2000 fix?
How about this? Max, part of being a good body man is to pick up the customer and take him for a blast in the S so he can feel better. Man, I have never missed a car, or any other inanimate object like this. even when I was over seas for many months. I missed driving, but never my car. Am I sick? Or is this normal?

No its normal...I was the same way when my baby was getting fixed..you should see how bumed I get when I have to put her away for the winter.
at least you didn't do it in the middle of the summer.

Jeff, what you have is called s2k'rus. It is an addiction but perfectly normal, for I have suffered from this illness before. The best temporary remedy is, as you mentioned, bum a ride with one of us.
Too bad weather is wet this weekend. Otherwise, I'd love to ride shotgun with you. Hope you feel better soon.

I know your pain :-( I got my car in January of 2002 and had the accident in June. Car was in body shop for 5 months and now that I have it back it's time to put the snow tires on. :-( I was so long without my car I'd forgotten all about the start button, the sixth gear and the reverse gear's position. Hell, I even forgot that I could put the top down! I remember one day after getting my car back I saw this guy driving a sebring with the top down and I wished I could do that too. Then it struck me, I was driving a convertable too! I pulled over right away to bring the top down. :-) Man, was it fun!
Let me know if you want a ride. I'm just waiting for a nice sunny day so I can drive to Natick for a tire change over. Hopefully the control arm will be fixed by then too. After that, I'll be able to give you ride any time since I'm not working these days.
