Some of you might remember when I posted that I went to the track with a friend who designed some software for apple. Well the software is out and it's already been reviewed by autoblog.com This application can run on either iphone or itouch. Bonus- cheep to download.

Check this iPhone software, Dynolicious for the iPhone. This was posted on the S2KCA site. I may get it when I get my phone.

If you purchase a mount it works quite well. We used a windshield mount, similar to a GPS's.

kenta, are you going to give up the jailbreak and restore your ipod so that you can upgrade to 2.0? I got it onto roses ipod last night and i have to say all the benefits of the jailbreak apple has surpassed with the apps they have now.

hmmm, now I'll have to seriously check this out.

One of the reasons I was tentative about going to the official 2.x release was that I would loose all my freebie jailbreak apps. I'll have to check out the App store and see if there enough free apps to replace the ones I'll be "losing" first.

Not sure how I'd mount the Ipod since I don't have a GPS style mount. Maybe I can get something cheap at say Target if I want to windshield mount it.

Let me know what you decide i think im going to restore mine and do it all apple style. Rose was loading things on hers like crazy last night and i have to say i liked what i saw. Although the apps are similar the apple ones were better designed. From what i can tell 2.0 basically unlocks it for you. Also better for the warranty if it bricks to have the real software on there.

It looks like it is a fun novelty, but isn't a deal breaker for me to jump ship to the iBandwagon.
