I stand by my assertion that you should name your child Mildred since you don't see enough of them around anymore. As a side benefit, your child will grow up to be tough out of necessity.

Yeah... and besides... there are plenty of Sues out there, we need more Mildreds.

 

Her sisters called my Mom "Millie" for a good part of her life. Then she got all uppity and everyone had to call her Emily.

 

Back in the day...27 yrs ago.. we were told our son was going to be a girl...they were 98% right they told us. Well he was part of the 2% they got wrong. They day he was born I had to scramle to find the baby names book and our Angela wound up being an Aric....1 of the 1st names I found I liked.
But like I said that was back in the day, today they are probably 99% right.
