Default Just my luck

So after work I figured I should finally change the oil in the beater, its been about 3k miles and I've been putting it off for a couple of weeks now. Dumbass Mike decides to use the 12 pt side of the wrench because he didn't want to use his noggin.

Stripped the bolt, and rather than get it off now and not have a replacement I called the dealer. Damn thing is on back order and I have to wait a few weeks minimum.

Boooooo

Any parts store should have replacement drain plugs. That FRAM thing is nice too.

Aren't there parts you can order online for your beater? I know Majestic Honda is pretty good about getting the stuff to me in 3 days or so. Short of that, I would also keep calling all the dealerships near you to see if any of them can get it to you faster.

Yea rounded the head off, my dad was confused when I said stripped as well.

I'll just wait for the new one to come in, oil only has 2800 miles on it anyways and I only drive it 50 miles a week so I'll be fine. Had to order a few other things for it anyways.

Only 1 dodge dealership within 50 or so miles. Not worth a huge drive for a drain plug.

If you want, I can try the Dodge dealerships around these parts, if they have it, I can just fedex it to you, would probably be much quicker than 2 weeks. If you want me to give it a try, just PM me to let me know.

It's all good. I need to take a trip there anyways (30 min drive) to pick up some other stuff anyways. Thanks for the offer though

It is also a Honda dealership so I usually pick up oil filters and crush washer's while I'm in.
