Default Kenta's emanage install

Install pics to come but I'm working on a problem so that supersedes downloading the pics from the camera. I got the unit installed yesterday and drove around for about 2 hours so it could "learn" it was a good mix of backroads and highway.

This morning I tried changing the settings first starting with the "Intake or Exhaust" and "Mild" settings. Got about 500 feet from my house and the car started to miss. I could definitely feel the car bogging. I did try the other settings, pretty much everything other than the agressive mode. Every setting I use is having the same problem. Car should have stock plugs, I've never changed them since purchasing from the previous owner who should have had them changed @ 30k, or at least that's what I was told. Car is also filled up with 93 octane fuel.

Jeff is sending me the one-step colder plugs, but in the meantime is there anything I'm missing here? Anything else I can check?

Additionally, during the install I noticed on the emanage harness there was a 2 wire connector (red & green I believe) which didn't seem to line up to anything. From the ECU there were 3 connectors which I unplugged and plugged into the eManage harness but then there are 4 plugs on the harness, 3 of which I put into the ECU and the forth is not connected.

So ... with all the DIPs off driving around it was fine?

We've done a number of upgrades to the kits since this one so are you able to swing by the shop tomorrow evening and we'll apply them to your kit?

We can also do some debugging too if needed.

Yeah running with all the dips down was perfect last night. I drop from Lowell to Nashua and back to grab dinner and car ran just like it was stock. This morning as soon as I changed any of the dips it was bogging and missing.

giles, can you PM or post what time will work for you and also let me know how much might cost me. If it's going to be a bit I might wait till I put in the colder plugs. Thanks!

I'll head up right after work tomorrow! Should be able to get there between 5:40-6:00. Hopefully it'll be something simple

See ya then. You can unplug everything now which will save us some time as I need to do some re-soldering of the harness before we start.

Pulled harness out completely, we'll just need to unscrew the emanage from the back wall and we're good to go. See ya tomorrow
