Default known issues with the clutch?

I am trying to figure out a list of things to get fixed while the car's still under warranty at 28,000 miles. I've heard about the "clutch tsb" but don't really know the history and if it applies to MY2002 cars? Any other clutch related TSBs/Recalls for my car? I tried the search but there are just too many results!

I'm begining to have a really bad feeling that the clutch is doing to die soon, it does not slip (during the incline test) or anything but I feel that during (and after) certain up-shifts I don't have the power I used to - almost like I'm not giving it enough gas or shifting at really low RPMs (but that's not the case).

Thanks!

They replaced my clutch under warrantee while doing the 1-2 syncros on my 00. The wear was in the spring plate (aka Marcel Plate) in the center of the clutch disk near the splines. It is used to keep the clutch chatter down.

Don't know if this is an issue with 02 MY.

Beware most dealers look unkindly to any clutch issues with sports cars, luckily Rockingham Honda gave me no problems.

I guess what I'm really trying to find out is what TSBs I can use to get a new clutch or tranny or any othything else under warranty.

My car has the 1-2 grind & the buzzing while decellarating. I also have another problem with the clutch - with the clutch pressed all the way down in neutral, when I give the car gas (around 4000 RPM) I feel this metalic grinding feeling from the clutch pedal (like something is hitting a rotating mass) - it is very obvious and I've been told it shouldn't be like that. I've complained about this before but the dealership tells me "it's characteristic of the car".

If I remember correctly... the TSB numbers are 54 & 55.

Thanks Glenn!

It seems to me that if I have both of these problems they should be taken care of at the same time cause they'd be removing the tranny anyways?

Let me see if the dealership is willing to work with me on this.

Both of these TSB's should be done at the same time.
