I had an owner in Southern California that ordered both an amp rack and flat rack from me. He wanted an option to cover up the trunk lid to give the car a more finished look. I'm really pleased with the way it turned out.

can you add that to a stock head unit? If you can, can the oem speakers handle the power?

are you talkng about the amp?? Jim is showing the amp rack and his new trunk liner thing

BUT yes you can add an amp to the oem head unit BUT i'm not too sure you want to take a weak crappy signal from the oem head unit and amp it up (garbage in - garbage out) and nope you'd kill the oem speakers with an amp (plus they would sound aweful)

Yeah, if I were to do it I would go with a new head and speakers, might as well do it right. But for now the oem does just fine.

Here is the DOH!, I did not even notice the covering on the trunk lid, now that is cool looking and does give it a nice touch.

The amp you see actually powers the sub. I also have a amp tucked behind in the spare tire area on a rack also.
