So my bro just got an s2k and we need to a place to cruise to.... Is there anyone in the danbury area interested in some kind of meet? I know theres car meets at McDonalds Exit 8 off i84 Tues and thurs nights and I saw a couple S's there last week. Starbucks by trader joes on the NY border is another good place w/ a big lot. Not limiting this to just S2k's, we should try and get a group together. I have some friends who will come with VW's, porsche, bikes, SI's etc.

 

Meets? Meets you say??? There's something about that word... I vaugely remember hearing it in the distant past. Right here on this board, too. Now what are those things? Meets... Hmmmmm.....

 

I need a meet fix too. However, it appears only a few "regulars" come out when there is a meet. Where are all the ones who used to show up for a tech day to get their oil changed? They seem to disappear never to be seen again.

True, but who is on the list?...The usuals. Back in the day, we could have gone to a meet several times a month, during the summer . Just not feeling the S2K

 

Oh they're seen again Lainey - when they need something else done. It's all about what's in it for them instead of getting to know the people and enjoying and helping out. Well all the regulars are fun and we always manage to have a great time - they just don't know what they're missing.

 

That is true. Maybe I have to get back into meet planning and we can just make our own fun. Who ever shows, shows...
