Default lightened pulleys

I just purchased some lightened pulleys for my car. I was wondering if anyone else on here has some. did you put the crank pulley on?? I'm skeptical about doing the crank.

I have them but no crank pulley since Ricks doesnt make one. I'd be iffy about the crank pullry also but thats the one that probably makes the biggest difference. I've always heard of people stating its bad but never really came across anyone that actually blew there motor or did damage. I doubt big name manufacturers would make them if they would end up blowing motors

Reduces mass rotation supposedly allowing faster acceleration response

Many of them also reduce the speed at which the accessory runs therefore allowing that torque to be used somewhere else.

you reduce the speed of the accessories when you go for underdriven pullies. these are just lighter aluminum stock size pulleys

For the same reason. It takes less engine power to move the pullies so the surplus will be used in other places - ie wheels.
