But I think the idea behind it is very cool. Giving professionals a place to network on such a large scale, where meeting people that chances are you would never meet... may open a lot of doors.

Networking is still best---face to face.

yeah I got invitations for that too. Funny thing is, a couple of my friends who I wouldn't consider professionals sent me requests. I wanted to reply with a WTF
