My "S" will not be driven this year during winter so I am doing my shopping early unlike last year, my car was in garage but this year it will have to stay out, I have an OEM cover but its no good for outdoors. Any idea of where I can get a good one, I really would like to get one that fits the car instead of getting one that's "universal" as they say. Thanks,
I'm in the same boat pretty much, after reading a bunch of posts and experience with a few Kimberly Clark car covers in the past myself, I'm pretty sure I'll be buying a NOAH car cover. You can get them custom fit to just about any car and they are available from a number of places online. As winter closes in, I'm 99% sure that's exactly what I'll get.
Rick has a car cover. I think it's an OEM one, but I'm not sure where we got it. I'll ask him if you want.
The "S" was in our driveway all winter under cover and often under a mountain of snow. He put a good coat of wax on it before covering it, and it looked great when we uncovered it in the spring.
Lainey,
btw guys thanks for the input.
I have an OEM cover as well, but telling from the fabric, its most likely a dust cover not really made for outdoors, unless I'm wrong
any idea of what should I be expecting on $$?
I stored mine the first winter outside, once the snow cleared up thats when I noticed I had a tear in my top along the sides (could have been usual wear, but first thought was the snow was too heavy)
Year 2, I paid the $125 month and got a storage unit, which I have decided to use year round now as it doubles as a safe, secure handy garage. I haven't even seen/used my top this year as I don't drive in the rain anymore, I park it top down all the time.

The one Rick has is fabric. "Breatheable" fabric and it's washable. I think he paid somewhere around $170.00 for it.
I'm not sure if it was made for dust/vs outdoor protection, but it worked out OK. You get enough snow on it and you've got nice insulation. Like putting the "S" in a cozy igloo.
i got one for sale in my attic. it's spidermike9's but he asked me to sell it if the opportunity arose for $125. PM me if you want it. it's the OEM one, which you're welcome to take a look at.
