Thumbs up Looking into a remote starter for the Ridge

I am looking to put a remote starter into the Ridge and I could use a little help.

1st off I am looking for a place to do the install properly. The Ridge is somewhat new and I dont feel too excited to have a 19 year old ripping up my car as he learns on the job.

I had one in my old Dodge, purchases and installed from Rayco in Shrewsbury. THe install wasnt the cleanest, but it did work for 7 years so I guess it was done right.

I am guessing I have to hand over my valet key for this? The main key has the remote funtions built in so I dont know if I give up that funcionality or I add a key fob to the key...

Any places someone would highly recommend for purchase and/or install?

Scott did an awesome job on our Impala. Really good hardware, well installed and setup. Scott has done this kind of thing day in and day out for many, many years.

I didnt realize Scott did this kind of stuff. I figured he was pretty busy with some high end tuning kind of work.

OR you could go to a Circuit City and spend around 300 bucks for an remote starter with 2 remotes and 1000 foot distance. Seeing that you have a chip in the key, you will need a bypass module.
Circuit city has professional install and a lifetime warranty on there labor and the remote starter has a lifetime warranty too. Also when you get rid of the vehicle they will remove it for FREE!!!!
Then of course you pay again to have it installed in the new vehicle.
I work in Nashua, I don't know how far Sutton is from nashua. Let me know what you want to do.

Circuit City only seems to have one product choice for $379 and reviews for it are mixed from what I can find on it.

I knew someone who did stereos at a chain electronics place, and from his stories that make me leary of them for installation. Im sure there are some great installers in some places but I know there are some not too good in others.
