Thumbs down Maintenance before winter

Hey All! As most of you know my S is a garage queen. =) 2002 and only 11,723k miles. Anyway I am going to do some routine maintenance before she goes to bed. Motor oil change, Diff oil change, Trans oil change. Plus a good cleaning interior/exterior and zaino of course.

I am going to Montreal, Canada this weekend to visit some family and to get my wife's timing belt and water pump replaced on her accord too... Long story short my uncle heads up the service department for a honda dealer and my cousin, the one you met at the Spring Mohawk works for Honda Corporate. So safe to say I can get parts pretty cheap.

I have in order up there already:
~ 2qts Honda MTF fluid p/n 08798-9016
~ 1 Tube of Shin-Etsu grease p/n 08798-9013
~ 1 Honda White Lithium Grease 12.5 oz Spray Can p/n 08732-0005
~ 1 Honda Multi Purpose Lube Spray Can 08732-0003
~ 1 Honda Fuel Stabilizer 8 oz 08732-0001
~ 1 Honda Air Filter Oil Kit p/n 08207-NTL-001

Safe to say I will be stocked up pretty good. Anyway just wanted to ask you all if anybody needed maintence parts. For example, I can find out how much a case of oil filters "PCX" for our S2000s are or Tubes of Shin-Etsu or MTF Fluid, etc... I remember Legal Bill getting a box of Filters earlier this year. Maybe I can do the same for spring? Just throwing it out there since I still have two filters sitting in my garage.

I wish our local dealers here will give us the 20% discount techs get but sux for us. BTW, since my Cousin works at corporate. I can get parts for 20-40% off depending on part. Only problem is that I have to go to Montreal, Canada to pick up.

PS, Don't ask me to get you like 5 diffs, 3 Clutches, a Pair of Seats. I am talking small time to help out the Nes2ko club.

George your the man,
I could use a pair of filters and washers.
That would be great. Which do you head up to Montreal 87 or 89, if you need a break we're not to far from Montpelier.

I go up rt 8 in CT here to I-90 then to I-87. I did go a number of times through 89 but its always a PITA after the the border. It very rural until you get to 20 I believe.

I will ask him to just price out a case of oil filters for me. I'll try to get it this weekend and give them out in the Mohawk drive next weekend. I'll look into cabin and intake filters too.

George,

Is it possible to get the exhaust gasket that goes after the cat at the three bolt flange?

I have an extra quart of the Amsoil Series 2000 75w-90 for the Diff... You interested?

Jeff

I just emailed him and asked for a bunch of maintenance things that I will need and added a couple more for my buddies here. And a case of PCX oil filters too...

I will look into exhaust Gasket after the cat. I could use one too...

Im all set George, but thanks for the offer.
I think all i have to do is give her a oil-and diff change. I also have a new Honda pollen filter that ive had for months but havent even got around to changing it! Going to make sure and do that also. Damn, these cold morning/evening temps are depressing me already! I sure hope we can get another day or 2,3,4 etc of top-down driving this month before it gets too cold.
