The Allegheny Chapter is hosting a car cruise featuring the S2000 for the benefit of the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The date is Sunday, June 25, 2006 at the Monroeville Mall located 10 miles East of Pittsburgh. This fun-filled event will feature a car show, prizes, raffles, and a whole lot more! The event will start at 11AM for S2k's and will end around 4PM. The rest of the "all makes, all models" vehicles will be arriving at noon. We are asking for a minimum donation of $10 per car to be paid the day of the event. We are not taking reservations so the event will be a first-come first-served basis. There will be reserved parking for S2k's that are able to show up early. Please PM me for more information, we need your support!

I doubt we'd be there, but maybe we can have a little fund raiser for contributions to the "Make a Wish" foundation?

New England folks are pretty generous when it comes to good causes.

I've asked Jumpy Guy to keep us posted on this event. I think there is nothing worse than a sick child. Helping to make one smile with the Make a Wish Foundation is a good cause.

We've got some time as this is a June event. Between now and then, I think we should all be able to put aside a few $$ and make a contribution to this event. Jumpy Guy will let us know who to make checks payable to.

Who's in?

Erick,no hiding behind the computer. Just divert the funds from your beer fund in your draconian budget plan.

There is currently no money in the beer fund to divert, that was depleted during my five day extended weekend. Right now, I have exactly $3 to last me until Friday. I'm beginning to think attempting to save 85% of my income for a house could quite possibly be the worst idea I've ever come up with.

Guys, here's my thought.

Early in May we start people up for money for this worthy cause. As with our Katrina fund raiser, we will not be looking for millions, every donation counts, regardless of the amount.

In late May, if you have the annual drive to remember Dana, (if it's OK with Ed and Bev and everyone else) we can make it a two fold event, and at dinner, total up the funds and put a check in the mail for the Make a Wish foundation. It would be a nice thing to do, and from what I've heard about Dana, I think he might have approved.
