March 1st...Is winter over?
I always get the feeling that once we make it through February the worst of the winter is over. It may have been just my imagination but when I took the dogs out this morning it sounded like the bird population increased overnight. I'm not putting my headlights on at 5:00 PM anymore. Can top down weather be far behind?
You're right. Even if it may snow tomorrow
, winter is almost over. We've got more daylight, the birds are out and about, AND I've dusted off my sneakers and walked a couple of days after work. A sure sign of spring.
We hope to have the S out in a couple more weeks.

the bright red male was pretty against the snowy backdrop.
Calling for another 8-14" of snow/ice here friday...it all depends on how cold it is. Hopefully this will be that last big shot of the frozen stuff. Still chilly here...I had -4 this am but now is sunny and warming into 20's.
