Yeah, I saw that on Boston.com and thought "how much hp could an '89 Vette have? 240? 250?"

I bet the kids at that school had a good time fixing the car up. I went to a technical HS when I was a kid. We never got to do any cruisers, but we always had some fun projects to work on.

They should turn that vette into a drift car and do demo's like the California highway patrol does. I am sure they probably won't be using it for patrol anyway since the Chargers they have are probably much faster and the maintenance cost to use that thing in patrol would be silly. Not to mention a PITA to get in and out of with duty gear on.
