Mass never fails to amaze me.

There is a very new, very nicely landscaped rest area on 495 north before you get to route 3. i had to piss really really bad sunday afternoon on my way home from CT. so i figure id stop at the rest area to go to the bathroom since making a trucker bomb with the top down would be too risky.

well what do you know, all the doors are locked, and the place is empty (makes sense since this is a busy time for people to be traveling ( sunday afternoon) now you would think the wonderful state of MA would provide porta pottys or some type of bathroom relievement? NOPE. you should have seen all the people circling the building looking for somewhere to relieve them selfs.

/end of rant.

you didn't see any trees at the rest area

why should we pay for you to have clean rest room - they should install "PAY TOILETS" - just swipe your mass license & it

<Troll>It's not for the government to provide you with a restroom. Privately owned companies should compete for your pee. This competition will provide you with the best toilet experience and eliminate government waste (but not yours!)</Troll>

If it was subbed out privately all residence would have to pay , so Steve's plan would not work . It would also not generate any $$ for the state

Now your thinking

I want to say I saw something about WBZ airing a report about MA corruption and where all your tax money is going . I think it said at 11 , not sure if it was AM or PM

But what do I know I am just a crazy NH guy
I think they could have a 24/7 Massachusetts corruption channel on cable.

Maybe they had a spy cam and were monitoring it for indecent exposure. The fine for that as to be pretty high. Its a setup I tell ya a setup!

oh that's an easy one.

state got federal money to build the rest stops and who's gonna turn down free money.
now operating them takes local budgets, so you know that is not going to happen.

I recall during the last big budget crunch during dutaxus administration they shut down lots of rest areas.

they hung it on gay activities at the areas and shut down almost all rest areas in the state, "in the interest of public safety".
