We have what I'll call a meat loaf variation. Stuffed peppers. Ground beef, onions, some tomato, and rice and the pepper.

It's practically a meat loaf in a pepper.

Oh and I bought corn from the corn guy. Best corn EVA.

Roasted a chicken earlier this week. It's cool enough to do that now. I'm not really all that happy about that fact.

This is Meatloaf:

I remember every little thing
As if it happened only yesterday
Parking by the lake
And there was not another car in sight
And I never had a girl
Looking any better than you did
And all the kids at school
They were wishing they were me that night
And now our bodies are oh so close and tight
It never felt so good, it never felt so right
And we're glowing like the metal on the edge of a knife
Glowing like the metal on the edge of a knife
C'mon! Hold on tight!
C'mon! Hold on tight!
Thought it's cold and lonely in the deep dark night
I can see paradise by the dashboard light

Actually, that's Jim Steinman. Only the voice is Meatloaf.

Jim Steinman wrote almost everything on Meatloaf's Bat out of Hell albums.

He also wrote "Total Eclipse of the Heart" and "Holding Out for a Hero" (Bonnie Tyler) "Making Love out of Nothing At All" (Air Supply) and "It's All Coming Back To Me Now" (Celine Dion).

You can actually hear the style similarities in the music with all of them.

Oh, and Jim Steinman is just as crazy as Meatloaf.

Leave it to an engineer to get technical

Meatloaf sings whosey-whatsy's song and the title of the thread is Meatloaf. See the correlation?

(And before you think I'm bashing you my husband is an ME - so I know all too well how you geeks think! )
