Thanks Lainey and Rick for another wonderful evening! The food was wonderful and it was just great seeing folks again!!

Bruce it was great meeting you! The key is to always stay in front of Steve - that way you miss his 80 mph missiles.

OK the chocolate thing in a bowl recipe:

1 box of Betty Crocker chocolate cake mix
2 boxes Jello instant pudding mix - chocolate
1 tub of Cool Whip
1 bag of Heath bar crunch pieces (in the baking aisle)

Directions:
Bake the cake
Mix the pudding

When the above is done layer in a bowl any way you please. If you want to live life on the wild side you can sprinkle (or soak) each layer of cake with Kaulaha. Our typical triffle consists of the following layering order staring with the bottom layer:

Cake
(add Kaulaha if you desire)
pudding
cool whip
then continue to layer in this sequence until you hit the top of the bowl - the add heath bar crunch pieces!

Enjoy!!

I'm surprised you still have some left! Thought they would have all been eaten up on the way home! Oh that's right - you were too busy smoking to eat!

Glad you didn't do this: when you found out you had to share the cookies.

Got milk to go with them?

You mean his tirade could have been worse??? Short of throwing himself on the floor it was a pretty decent meltdown for someone who is a little less than a year away from vintage!

Hey Steve - did you have your "camp" fire today? Were you prepared with the marshmallows?

He was pretty gracious actually. Once he learned he still had more cookies than Erick, he was very about sharing.
