Uh oh. I wasn't aware that f/i threw codes. I passed with a test pipe this year. I didn't throw any codes. Maybe I should do more research.

If you are going to track your car go s/c not turbo. If $ is an issue then don't go turbo. Turbo is generally gonna require a new clutch. Most people say a turbo will cost 10 grand with clutch injectors emu etc. A vortech used will cost 3500 used and won't need a clutch. I like a nice wing.

Where did u get your car inspected at? Will a greedy EMU respond to a the OBD2 diagnostic machine? I heard some people say a K-pro will work but haven't meet anyone yet to confirm! Also isn't a visual inspection under the hood part of the inspection procedure? Really interested in more info.!!

If you do need a new clutch, for whatever route your going turbo or SC. There a guy selling a exedy hyper single clutch for a really good price in the classified, check it out! Heads up on a Mugen rep hardtop, for the price your going to pay for paint and body work. Its about the same as a uses Oem hardtop with less of the hassle. Had some fitment issue with my vis mugen rep..!

Greddy kits are c.a.r.b. exempt, if they pass inspection in california they should pass in any other state

Decided to go supercharger. I'm just waiting for the right deal for a used one. Most likely a comptech or vortech as they seem to be the most popular ones always for sale. Before I buy the kit I'd like to put in some supporting mods. I'm going to purchase a clutch upgrade this weekend. Any supporting mod recommended?

Also I have a Greddy Ti-c exhaust dual w/ a T1R test pipe. The piping size is 60mm. Will that be a restriction towards the s/c?

You can always do cooling mods, i.e. fan switch, thermostat, etc.

If you're interested in doing gauges that might be somethig to do in advance. I did a SOS dual pod with boost and oil pressure. In your case boost will just read negative all the time until you get the supercharger in Since I got the comptech SC I was a little weary about the oil return feeding back into the drain bolt location because it sits kind of low. I decided that watching my oil pressure would be a nice to have since by the time the dummy light went off it would probably be too late. You could also do a wideband and get the bung and everything welded up as well.

Kenta, a friend told me about this device.

It's $450. Do you think buying the pillar pods and separate gauges = $450? lol.
