I got my hands on a discontinued Tamiya model, check it out! JDM spec S2000. I need a few things still, I want to spray the body with real Suzuka Blue, and I'm in search for a totally silly motor. I assembled the model with full ball bearings. The only bummer it that is has an open differential, although a LSD is a possibility.

 

Is that RC controlled? Electric?

Yeah that's right I'm gonna be a copycat but it will be worth it.

 

Yup! R/C, Electric. I'm going to get a completely stupid 33,000+ rpm motor for it.

Is this just a kit? Because before I bought mine, I looked into the tamiya version. It was a kit, and it does not include the radio set, speed control or battery/charger. The only thing it came with was a 25T stock motor. You'll have to expect another $100 - 130 in addition to just the car
