Default More drag racing....

Well I went back to Lebanon Valley last night with the hopes of lowering my previous best time after some advice from some people on the boards, but it didn't work out so well.

1st run. Right lane, tire pressure at 32 psi
14.53 @ 96 with a 2.3 60'
Launched at 6500 and spun pretty badly. Caught traction at 6700 and off I went. It felt like a great run but the time says otherwise.

2nd run. Left lane, tire pressure at 25 psi
15.1 @ 93 with a 2.2 60'
Launched at 6500 and caught very good traction, but then missed 2nd gear

3rd run. Right lane, tire pressure at 25 psi
14.57 @ 96 with a 2.3 60'
Launched at 6500 and still spun badly, despite the lower tire pressure. Again this run felt good but the time indicates otherwise.

I think what happened is that the right lane was very poorly prepped and had I given it a 4th run I would have gone back over to the left lane and launched around 7k. This should have given me a 2.1 ish 60' and assuming I hit all gears maybe a 14.3 or so.

Until next time......

BTW the member chillout18 from CT came out with me and had very similar times.
