Howdy New England! My question is has anyone driven the road to the top of Mt. Washington? If so how is the road?

We are taking a trip through New England and would like to drive to the top with the S but I am concerned with the road conditions.

Thanks for your help.

Part of the road is still not paved so if that is of concern forget it. Otherwise you should have no problems

It's been YEARS since we headed up that way. Here's a link which you probably have found already.

I can handle un-paved a long as I don't have to follow someone too closely or have to drive too fast.

I drove from NH to Maine today. I drove up Mt. Washington today, but in a rental however. The unpaved section is very short--most is paved. Great view. It's tough hard on the engine/transmission but I am sure the S can handle. I also drove up Cadillac Mountain in Acadia National Park today. What an amazing place to experience and drive the S. IMO, Cadillac Mountain has superior views (w/ the Atlantic), is safer, and is more S friendly. The roads heading up to Cadillac are fun and breathtaking--I anticipate you will be able to safely enjoy some of the curves.
