I'd like to thank Chang at Funhondas in Maynard! He was able to set me up with snow tires for the S!!!

Yes, I'm driving the S in the snow/salt etc. get over it. It's a long story and so far lots of fun!

Chang runs a really, really small shop with lots of stuff everywhere. This make the shop seem even smaller.

But don't let the shop fool you, he takes his time and does things right, he has pride in his work.

He also referred me to a detailer in the same town who took care of my car delivery nightmare.

Auto Manicures in Maynard... the owner of the shop is the only employee and he's very detailed.

It looked better than new, really! I'm a pretty detail orientated person especially when cleaning my car and I liked his work.

I highly recommend both of these shops!

Nice Sebring silver! I love the black and red combo. The interior is so clean it would be ashame to dirty the mat with road salt and other crap. You should get a rubber floor mat.

Just my 2 cents.

BTW, which snow tires you use. How is the handling in deep snow?

Hey, Caliber. Where are you located. I'm bringing my car to Chang in March for my 30K interval. I work in Maynard.

How'd you hear about funhondas? Just curious.

Hoth - Yeah, It's such a shame that I'm still using the paper floor mat from the detail shop

The tires I went with are Nokian WR's

Nokian Tyres - WR

I really wanted the RSi's but there wasn't an equivalent size for the OEM 17s.

They've been great in everything except the deep sticky wet snow.

Equivalent to the Blizzak LM-22 or LM-25's.

Got any suggestions for a good rubber mat?

Mas - No prob!

Bass - Here's his price sheet...

$149 Royal Treatment - superior interior and superior exterior combined.

$90 Superior Exterior - machine polish, hand wax, clean wheels, windows, dash, vacuum and UV protection.

$90 Superior Interior - carpet and upholstery shampoo, vinyl/leather clean and condition, windows, wheels, exterior wash. (QUICK WAX add $5)

$49 Super foam wash and wax - hand wash, clean wheels, hand wax, UV protectant, windows, dash and vacuum.

$25 hand wash, wheels, vacuum, dash and windows. (QUICK WAX add $5)

$15 hand wash, vacuum.

Mine was paid through a claim so I got the works, less the machine polish, I didn't need it.

He's a great guy and his shop is set up well.

Chazmo - I'm in Natick. And I heard about Chang here in the forums! He'll be putting new tires on my wifes car next week. Next will be a drain and fill on my transmission. Switching to synthetic... my second gear syncro seemed a little notchy when I first bought it but up hear in the cold it actually grinds a bit from time to time.

Any one else with an 04-05 with the new tranny have a notchy second gear???

Keeps me from shifting hard or racing

Caliber,

I ran both of my s2000's for 3 winters, daily driven, combined for about 100K miles. After that experience I HIGHLY recommened the clear bra. I have it now on my evo and regret not doing it on my s2ks.

HWANGTKD - Thanks for the heads up but I drove almost 10000 interstate miles with two seasons of lovebugs in FL... My front bumper is a little roughed up already.

^ hmm... good question. I'm going to get my 30K stuff done there, but I was planning to do my alignment at NTB (they've done a good job before, though I won't let them touch my Prodrives).
