Default Need Help Door handle broken...

Hey guys im gonna need some help as to what is the cheapest way to get this fixed. This past weekend some dudes unsuccessfully tried to break into my 95 accord. They didnt get in but in the proocess they managed to mess up the whole door handle trying to jam a screwdriver underneath it to unlatch it. I dont know how much longer i can take going through the back seat to open up the drivers side door. Does anybody know someone who can fix this for cheap ? HELLLLLLLPPPP.

Did they mess up the body panel or just the handle?

Call a junk yard for another handle. You might be lucky enough to find one with the same color. Handle is pretty easy to remove although you will have to take apart the inner door panel to get to it.

I had an A$$ break into my 95 Accord the same way back in '99.
Stole my sunglasses and gas credit card.

I had the bodyshop bend the sheetmetal back and replace the handle.
Insurance covered it.

many years ago we broke the handle off my moms accord, the part wasn't rediculously expensive new prepainted from the dealer, as george said you have to take off the panel and get to the inside, it wasn't too bad, maybe a bit tricky to get it to angled right when fitting it thru the skin, but not terrible. dont forget to swap out the lock cyl so your key still works (unless they mangled that too)
