Default need some help / ideas regarding my stereo stuff -

Ok guys

i guess modding does have it's advantages cause i keep finding cool stuff in my basement that i can use in the 'Lude

I found a set of 6 inch Diamond M3s this morning

now I have a great set of older Diamond M6s that i plan to install in the doors of the 'Lude and i have a set of Alpine 6*9s that i plan to put in the rear deck oh and we still have to fit the 2 12s in the trunk somehow

now my question is how can i run the M3s off the amps i have

for the 12s i am going to use the JL500/1

for the rear deck 6*9s and door speakers i was going to use MRV-F450 - 5 channel amp

do i need another amp if i want to install the M3s somewhere??

also the 9835 only has 6 pre-outs ie frt/back speakers and sub - so how could i add the m3s

and do i really need 12 speakers in the car ie 4 mids 4 tweeters 2 6*9s and 2 subs??

I have no clue as to what you are trying to do. I think the end result is a very LOUD stereo system and no room in the trunk. Am I close?

You can run them off the amps you have now .

What channel depends on where you are going to mount them .

ex. If you put them in the back with the 6x9s you can just wire the M3's and the 6x9's in parallel . This would run the rear channels at 2ohm

I would just buy headphones , it will be much easier for you . You can switch them from car to car easily too

Who needs a superfluous trunk when you have three passenger seats?

i was thinking about mounting the M3s right beside the rear seats and the 6*9s on the rear deck

Adding additional point sources will impact your sound stage. Personally I'd sell the M3s and use the money for a spoiler.

Plus when you get rid of the car, you won't have 2 gaping holes in the rear deck when we take the stereo out.

We could just duct tape them to your head . That should be loud enough .
