new car!
Went to Cardinal Honda last night to look for a car for my better half. Looked at the Civics, liked them more than I thought I was going to, but we were really looking for something more comfortable.
Ended up driving the 4 and the 6 Accord, pretty impressed, but were going to drive the TSX before we made a decision. As we were talking, the salesperson mentioned that he has a used 4cyl with Nav (7000 miles). Figured we would entertain him and have a look, but he couldnt find it on the lot (Manager took it home). Last minute he said he had an 2005 Accord V6 Hybrid in the shop being reconditioned (got it Saturday - was being vaccumed when we went into the shop to look at it).
I figure, sure right, not my thing, decided to take it out for a drive. Took it out from Cardinal and holy $%^$, the car is a rocket ship! Dont get me wrong, its no s2k, but its comfy, quiet, and ballistic.
The car had leather and a Nav, with 15k on the odometer, and except for a scratch on the hood was in great condition. Apparently Honda went for more performance than econonmy with the Accord. Anne loved it (She likes that it talks to her), so I couldn't leave it. We will be picking it up Saturday.
Also means I have a beater for the winter, first time since 99 that the s2k will not be my daily driver in the snow!
Will post some pics, usually not a big fan of tint, but I think the car needs it, its just too damn cool.
Cheers
