Default New Car

I recently total'd my 05 Mini Cooper S @ 90k miles.

Me and my wife were contemplating on purchasing a hybrid vehicle as a daily driver replacement. With the money we got back from the Mini we put a hefty down payment on a used 2011 Honda Insight EX with 30k miles. The other cars we had in mind were the Toyota Prius and the Honda Civic Hybrid. We chose the Insight because it was roomier than the Civic and wanted to stand out from the Prius owners. This car is quiet, comfortable and comes with all modern day amenities. Also, couldn't resist 40+ mpgs. I'm not one of those "Green" people, I just happen to like saving on gas.

These are not my pictures, but I'll take some when I have time. Not much to show off anyways.

Nice. We considered the Insight when it first came out. I'm not a hybrid type either, but I liked that it was the closest thing to a Civic wagon that is available. Good call on buying lightly used, too, as that's where the real savings will be.

Eh, I don't care much for looks on my DD. It's when people call my S2K ugly. Then I get angry.

Personally, not a fan, but I understand your purchase as it is most likely a wise one for cost.

It was hard to pick something that looked good, affordable, hybrid, low miles, has warranty.

Not a fan of the body style, but
A. it could be worse, and inside looks good.
B. like you said its a DD soooo, whatever, you have an s2k,
C. Good fuel economy

I could never imagine you seeing me or anyone in an s2k and pulling next to them and saying "hey thats my other car"

Again the inside looks good but after scrolling back up, holy shit how much stuff are they putting in cars these days?!
Looks like a freaking space ship!
