Default New Carbon

Well the wife finally let me pull the trigger this summer and I've finally got it all built up and have amassed approx. 50 miles thus far in two rides. Sorry for the crappy pics from my phone.
The beater on the trainer.

New frame

Custom 3D fitting

Finally built up and home.

Mods include:
Parlee custom frame
Zipp SL carbon bars
full Sram Red setup minus front dr is Force
crankset Dura Ace 7900 and chain
Thomson seatpost and stem
Specialized team toupe ti saddle
Shimano Rs80 carbon/ aluminum wheels with Hutchinson rubber
Speedplay Zero SS pedals
Cateye Strada wireless computer
Yokozuma cables
Fizik bar tape
Bike weighs in at roughly 15.6 lbs. This can easily be brought down if I swap out the wheels, but these wheels are pretty bulletproof at 1521 grams.

Maybe it's time for another S2K bike ride.

Yah, I've been working the leg. Just saw the surgeon again Friday and he gave me a new ankle brace, not as cumbersome as the big black boots. Since the surgery I'm actually able to pedal better (not like pre accident), but have almost no lateral movement. As for pain, I just deal with it.

I hear you, but it is improvement. BTW that frame is sweet! Most people probably have no clue what you got there.

Did you use Speedplays before the accident? I've heard that the allowable movement helps with tendons and ligaments. I have 'em, too, but I've never had anything else since I'm still a n00b on the bike.

I've had Looks since 1988 or so, the original ARC's on the previous bike and Look Keo Classics on the new one. After the initial learning period, I love them. I also have Shimano SPD style pedals on the mountain bike. Those are nice in that they have attachements on two sides of the pedal and the cleats are recesses in the shoe making walking easier.

Yeah, I don't walk with the speedplay cleats at all. Firstly, it isn't easy, but second, it looks like they'd get messed up with about 30 steps.
