New England Auto Show
So who went to the Auto Show at the Expo center this weekend/or planning to go soon?
I went today and thought it was worse than last year... what happened to all the exotics (Ferrari's, Aston Martin's, and Lambo's)?

The show was great. Went on Saturday. Surprisingly, the turnout was quiet for the first few hours and then things picked up around 3pm. Even then, you could pretty much get up close and sit in anything there. Not real crazy like the past years. Must have been the nice weather.
Oh, and you can drive the new Sebring and Aspen. Decent cars and you get a very nice Chrysler hat if you drive.
There was 1 S2000 there (as always), in SIlverstone. It is amazing that even after 7 years on the market, this car is a surprise to so many. I heard comments like "Is this new" and "What is this? Nice" multiple times and a few times there were groups of guys raving about the perfomance and motor specs. There were lines to sit in it and there were people taking snapshots with the car. Still an attention getter, it seems.

I usually go to the GHADA auto show in Hartford every year, This year it starts on Nov. 17. I've never been to NEIA, but I assume GHADA is sort of a boiled down abbreviated version of the same thing.
Like S2K08, I think this show is also deteriorating with time. They used to have a dozen or so concepts and all the hot cars from the major dealers. They had a Carrera, LS430, SL500, FordGT, Caddy CRX, Corvette, the same silverstone S2000, and all the sportiest cars. It's in Hartford, so it never gets too crowded and you can usually sit in anything you want. Each year I see a handful less sports cars and a few more minivans or SUV's. I might skip it this year.

The TV commercials show the Chrysler 4-12 (I think that's the name), and I've never seen that one in person.
Enzo is cool, but you could just see that on the street... I remember seeing the Jaguar XJ220 once there... The olny Ford GT I have seen was at that show. I want to go, but during the day to avoid all the kids.
