Got myself a 2.5 Ton floor jack (Harbor Freight) and I gotta say I love this jack vs the 3 Ton floor jack by Craftsman which I been borrowing my friend a lot lately before owning one. Craftsman jack was minimum 5" vs Harbor freight min 2.4" and still plenty off room to move around. Best of all less pump to have the car goes up and coming down was extremely smooth. Had to shave the Styrofoam on the rear bumper support beam because it was to tight of a fitment. Only thing left to work on is making the bracket for the lower section of the bumper. Still looking for my aluminum plate that I bought last year to use it for the bracket..

I have a 1.5 ton Harbor Freight one. So I broke the first one I had, however it was user error, I didn't have the handle all the way down the housing... let's just say it was probably a good half inch from the bottom, I cranked it and snapped the casing. Had I actually inserted the handle all the way down AND locked the retaining screw it would have been fine. User error. Luckily I just returned it to Harbor Freight and they swapped it, no questions asked . New one has been fine and from now on I always make sure I get the handle in all the way before using it.

I just bought the 2 ton HF jack and used it for the first time last night. Got a good price on it while I was browsing HF for a couple other tools.

Car looks nice

Is your old AP1 bumper toast? Did it come off with all its mounting tabs intact? I would possibly be interested in taking it off your hands if you want to get rid of it.

I was actually thinking of posting it on the for sale section but I can't do that since I have to renew my membership. I have it posted on craigslist here the link: AP1 GPW Rear Bumper
