Default New Hobby

I picked these up a couple weeks ago and now I'm hooked. The little MSR is a blast to fly indoors, and given the weather there has been a ton of indoor time. I'm now addicted to these and am already planning the next addition to the hanger for when the weather is nice. These are also fun to mod.

I will try and get some action shots.

How's it coming along? I had delved into that hobby for a while but it proved to be too time consuming for me right now.

My buddy got into it a the same time and he is now flying a T-rex inverted! He has a ton more time than me though and says he put several hundred hours in on the simulator to get where he is.

It's coming along good. The MSR is a fixed pitch bird but single rotor with a tail rotor and is a size you can fly in your house. There is so much to learn about these things. It's crazy what some people can do with their Heli's. Me I'm just having fun flying around in the great room, but I agree it's about time to get good. I will fly the MSR indoors all winter and build my skills at nose in flying. Then when warmer weather comes and I can get outside it will be time for a bigger bird.

Start practicing now and you will be able to fly 3D by then.

I've got a MSR, MCX, Blade 400, Eco 8 and a bunch of nitro planes and helis. Love that hobby.

Best, most controllable micro out there. Great indoors and not bad outdoors with a very slight breeze. Great training tool too.
Forgot - I have a Walkera 4#3 too with a bunch of upgraded parts and I still prefer to fly the MSR. I'll upgrade the blade once I break it, but it flys so well I havent crashed it yet.
