Just got home from training and saw this thread. Thanks for all the good news everyone! Proof that there are good things going on. I am sure most of Steve's contribution news comes from the fact that people are doing it mostly to get out of taxes in some way and not out of kindness. Then there is the problems that most of the money donated is mis-used. But, yeah, good news none the less.

Lainey, I am happy to hear of the wildlife in your yard. I am an animal lover as you know. I like animals better then people. They don't bother anyone and if they do, they don't mean it. People just plain suck.
Thanks for the Hoodsie cup offer, but I am working tomorrow. Maybe next time!

George, glad to hear that your HVAC is getting put in. I love Air conditioning!! Sorry about your teeth. Reminds me of when I was in the Navy and they took my wisdom teeth out. Doctor didn't put in enough novacaine and refused to so I felt the whole thing. Wonderful experience.

Julius, did everything come out OK?

Here's our wildlife, Jeff.

Can you see the little guy? No public housing or a hole in the ground for him. A toad house is on it's way.

This guy was near our driveway. Not sure where he went.

Bet your boys would like him! Hope he comes around when you stop by for the Hoodsie cups.

Nice!

Steph found a snake similar to that one in our yard the other day. She kept on talking about ho it may bother Jeffrey in some way or other so I had to dispose of it. Then she was mad that I did the deed.

I like toads, they really don't bother any one!

I like toads.
I wish they would stay away from the lawn mower though.

more good news.

took my 16 year old out driving and we made it back in one piece.
found a big 6-inch box turtle in the driveway and the new driver trainee stopped in time.

Anytime you drive with a 16 year old and you, the 16 year old AND the car return in the same condition, that is GOOD NEWS! for the turtle too.
