Most kits are not street legal anyway. It is more function than looks , and when you at the top of your class in racing weight is everything.

I believe the kit comes with fenders ,hood , doors, rear flares, bumpers, and maybe the hard top . everything is made out of dry carbon . This is about the average price for conversions like this . I have see a few cars with dry carbon bodys that have exceeded that price.

I think Steve has spent that much in audio and bodyshop repairs over the past few years

Yup, spend 42k to get an Elise and use the rest on a SC for the S. Now you have 2 cars that can spank an S w/ that kit.

What do you guys think about the new hardtop....looks weird and at first I didn't like it, but the more I look at it...
