figure i'll drink a lot Friday night and spend the rest of the weekend in bed with a hang over. once in a while i'll get up and look at all the nice cars then back to bed

J/K

my game plan is to be there early Friday to help with the set-up - do the meet & greet Friday night.. Have dinner Friday

Get up early Saturday and head to Cardinal Honda to make sure everything is in place and offer any help i can with the pre-drive festivities.. and then i figure i can help by sending groups of 10 cars out for the drive.. ( i may hope in as a +1) for the drive

after the drive back to the hotel to plan for the banquet.. this is where other owners can offer me bribes so they can win the prizes

after dinner - i'll hang with the vintage folks for a while but seeing that they are a roudy bunch i may need to hang in the lounge

sunday morning - have breakfast and wish the auto cross folks good luck and make sure everyone who signed up for the autocross is ready to go.. from there prep the poker run folks..... head out on the poker run and stop at the autocross

say good bye to the folks that are leaving... meet up with my New England buddies and say "that was a blast - plan to kiss Glenn for all his hard work and drive back home but i'll stop at Spikes for two freaken hot hot dogs on my way

that pretty much sums it up

I'm going to skip the drinking. Rick will pick up my slack in that department.

We may even go to the hotel on Thursday night. Kick around Mystic in the AM, lunch at Mystic Pizza then back to the hotel to meet and greet.

We will attend as many of the events as we can and provide helping hands as needed.

On Saturday evening we will attend the dinner event and Legal Bill's Vintage gathering. I'm not sure the hotel sells Sam Adams beer, so Rick may not do the UH HUH number that Jim (Pos2k) enjoyed so much in NY. (HOPING the hotel does NOT sell Sam Adams beer).

It's going to be a great weekend!

Lainey, are you implying that the Vintage gathering might be just a little more entertaining if someone (who shall at present remain nameless) should just happen to smuggle in a few of said Sam Adams beers?

You missed quite a show at Lake George, Larry.

Sam Adams and Rick were quite a combo. I don't doubt that other brands of beer in the same quantity, could have produced the same results. Sam was just in the right place at the right time.

See you in CT in August?

Yeah, I heard. I was greatly disappointed in both the weather, which forced us to cancel our planned boat weekend and my judgement which convinced me to leave the car in the garage as well. Barring major catastrophe, we WILL be there in August. I will try to remember to check on availability of Sam Adams in case we need a back up plan.
