I agree Lainey. I think that of the people who have signed up, the majority would want to drive to the cape. I just think that if you had something other than a sunday drive so to speak, we may get a different crowd interested and more attendance.
Well..... we could all go to your house for lunch?

Not trying to burst anyone's bubble or be negative, but keep in mind, most folks don't hang around very long on the Sunday of a meet, so setting up for a car show on Sunday might not work either.
I'm sure if I'm able to work things out & am able to attend the fri/sat activities that my sunday drive would be my drive home.

Well, maybe the Sunday activity would be something the locals would want to come out for. I am surprised there was so little interest in the karting. I thought the younger crowd would love it. When I go to the F1 indoor track, it is always younger guys in their 20s and 30s that fill the place up.

Lainey sent an e-mail around to the coordinators and Glen has outlined a program that is pretty much the same as the original, just trimmed back a bit. The lower head count triggers some additional charges that the hotel was previously willing to wave. On Friday, we will not be hosting a reception because we had to cut out the hors-douvres. We are looking at a new, lower pricing structure and I think that is the hold up right now. We want to cut it to the lowest price, but we don;t want to have to drain the entire club account and chip in out of pocket to cover any shortfall, so we want to make sure we have it right.
